It was born in a Burn ICU — where patients who had survived the unimaginable asked not about their recovery, but about how they would look. In those moments, Valerie Taylor understood something deeply human:
Beauty is not vanity. It is identity. It is confidence. It is deeply personal.
But the story begins even earlier.
Long before nursing, there was a little girl carefully sewing for her Barbie dolls and applying their makeup with intention and care — learning early that beauty lives in the details, the creativity, and the love poured into every.
That little girl became a Registered Nurse with nearly 30 years of experience.
For decades, she carried the same unwavering standards — precision, compassion, attention to detail, and deep care for the people she served — into every patient room, every shift, every year of her career.
And over time, she began to notice the same gap within luxury beauty: products that looked beautiful but were not always thoughtfully created for women long overlooked by the industry.
So, she decided to build what she could not find.
After nearly two years of research, development, and refusing to let go of the vision, Stella Rose Beauty was born.

Why I built Stella Rose Beauty.
Beauty has always been more than appearance to me — it is an expression of who we are, how we heal, and how we move through the world.
For nearly 30 years, I served as a Registered Nurse in burn ICUs, neonatal units, and pediatric units, witnessing people fight through unimaginable moments with extraordinary strength. And even in those moments, one question continued to surface:
“How will I look?”
That question never left me.
It became the foundation of Stella Rose Beauty.
But my love for beauty began long before nursing — hand-sewing clothes for my Barbie dolls, carefully applying their makeup, and learning early that beauty lives in the details, the creativity, and the care poured into every single stitch.
Today, Stella Rose Beauty represents everything I believe beauty should be: thoughtful, intentional, inclusive, and deeply personal.
